AUBER Vision Statement

To be internationally recognized by business, government, and education as the premiere professional organization dedicated to continually improving the quality, effectiveness, and application of research in business, economics, and public policy.

History

Organizational steps toward the establishment of the Association were taken at the January 1947 meeting of the American Statistical Association, American Economic Association, and related associations held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The first annual meeting was held in October 1947 at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. Since its organization in 1947, AUBER has expanded to include members representing colleges and universities in Canada and the United States.

Business Office

The University of Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research is now serving as the AUBER Business Office and webmaster.
