This session provides an overview of the three most-used economic impact models (RIMS, IMPLAN and REMI), as well as an exciting new contender (Regional Dynamics). Each of the papers will cover the data inputs needed for that model, how the model calculates its answers, the types of outputs that result, the cost, and the strengths and weaknesses of that model. This session will provide a useful comparison of models and contacts with users.
