Chair Announcement
Old Dominion University's College of Business and Public
Administration is pleased to announce the creation of The
Robert M. Stanton Chair in Real Estate and Economic Development.
The $4.5 million endowed chair will bring national recognition
to the university's real estate program, support the college's
focus on economic development, and provide student scholarships
and internships. The college's Center for Real Estate and
Economic Development provides information and resources for
the Hampton Roads real estate and economic development communities
in their quest to improve the regional economy through job
creation and investment.
Established in 1961, Old Dominion University's College of
Business and Public Administration enrolls more than 3,000
students in nine undergraduate and eight graduate degree programs.
Housed in Constant Hall with more than 90,000-square-feet
of wireless office, classroom, and computer lab space, the
college has more than 80 faculty members and 20 full-time
staff. The college is accredited by the Association for the
Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business in general business
and accounting and by the National Association of Schools
of Public Affairs and Administration for its urban studies
and public administration degree programs.
