Thanks for joining us online for our 73rd Annual Fall Conference! The conference featured two great keynote speakers – Abigail Wozniak, Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis’ Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute, and David Altig, Executive Vice President and Director of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – and several panel discussions focusing on Covid-19 and the economic impacts on our economy.
The first panel discussion featured Michael Hicks, Director at Ball State University’s Center for Business and Economic Research; Fred Treyz, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Economist at REMI; and Stephen Miller, Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The second panel centered on federal statistics and Covid-19 and featured Andrew Hait, Economist at the U.S. Census Bureau, and Michael Dalton, Research Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statics.
Also included in the conference were an AUBER business meeting and a publications awards ceremony.
