2022 Spring Conference

This past year has transformed so many aspects of our world. Changes such as ordering groceries online, working remotely, and buying homes sight unseen through video chats may have changed our country’s economic landscape permanently. As we emerge from the global pandemic, innovation and technology that made life manageable during the last year will lead the way in supporting our new American economy in the next decade. As economists, we are poised to help government and business leaders better understand how these changes can ultimately make us stronger.

The Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER) invites you to attend our 2022 Spring Conference, Feb. 26 – Mar. 1, 2022, in Boulder, Colorado. Our hosts are the Business Research Division at the University of Colorado Boulder. Register with code EARLY2022 to receive $100 discount on registration. Sponsors should contact for a sponsor discount code prior to registration.

Our membership includes university researchers and practitioners ranging from economists and statisticians to demographers, data visualizers, and research innovators. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.

PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP | Saturday, February 26 (9 am)

This workshop will introduce R as a programming language and software environment for performing statistical analysis and creating visualizations. The morning session will begin with the basics and proceed through interactive examples. No prior experience with R is expected; however, some familiarity with data aggregation or summarization (e.g., Pivot Tables in Excel) and statistics (e.g., regression analysis) will be useful.

Add WORKSHOP to your registration to attend this session.

CONFERENCE OUTING AND DINNER | Monday, February 28 (1:45 pm)

Join us as we take a tour of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a popular venue for geology, architecture, and performance. Motor coach departs from hotel at 1:45 pm. Immediately following the tour, we will proceed to The Fort Restaurant, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, for dinner. Registered guests are welcome to join the field trip with you, please be sure to select the appropriate add-ons to your conference registration to ensure we have an accurate headcount for this event.
