ABOUT
The Northwest Economic Research Center (NERC) is part of Portland State University’s College of Urban and Public Affairs. The Center fills a need for applied economic research in an academic setting in Oregon.
The Center focuses on economic research activities to support public policy and private objectives in the State of Oregon and the Greater Portland Metropolitan area. NERC collaborates with other centers and institutes at PSU where economic expertise and analytical methods are required to produce superior research. It specializes in modeling, data management, research, and analytical methods applicable to issues of urban and regional economic development.
