Submissions Open for 2026 AUBER Awards
Monday, August 3, 2026, is the deadline to enter the annual AUBER Awards — your best paper, publications, and individual commendations. The 2026 awards will be presented at the 79th annual fall conference, Oct. 17-20, 2026, in Boston, MA.
Centers can submit print/digital projects produced in the previous academic year (August 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026) for consideration for the print, electronic, and website categories of the Awards of Excellence in Publications.
- Centers may enter work into multiple categories, but only one entry per category, please.
- The 2024 and 2025 award recipients serve as the 2026 category judges; therefore these centers are ineligible to submit to the specific category they are judging.
Researchers (including students) can submit scholarly papers for consideration for the Paul Polzin Prize for Best Paper.
- You must present your paper at the Oct. 2026 conference. Contact Victoria if you are not already on the schedule.
Everyone can nominate individuals for consideration for the Fellow of AUBER Award or Honorary Membership.
- Candidates may be active AUBER members or retired.
- Self-nominations are not permitted.
- No R. Thayne Robson Award in 2026 — given in 2025, 2027, etc.
